| This is one of those motorcycles with the rear axle being the crankshaft and the big end of the connecting rod directly powering the wheel. The cylinder was based on a Renault cylinder liner with the original intent being to have a cylinder |

on each side of the bike. After finding out that one cylinder had enough torque to lift the front wheel, it was left as a single cylinder.
