This is a 1936 Cleaver boiler of Scotch Marine Boiler, dry-back style, riveted construction. It is a code boiler. There is a 6 hp. Briggs and Stratton engine to power the combustion fan and fuel oil pump. The duplex pump is for water. This is a portable unit developed to heat crude oil in tank cars for unloading.
2 1/2 gallon per hour fuel nozzle
puts out 200 psi saturated steam
