Gar Dickerson Engine
(Doble Triple)
Gar Dickerson of Albion, Michigan has machined beautifully a Doble Triple as described in John Walton’s Doble book. Pictured is an early version and I believe the HP cylinder has been changed back to the original central position. The workmanship is excellent and you will note the heart shaped exhaust manifolds for collecting steam from the cylinders to go to the receivers for the lower pressure cylinders. | ||
