2012 Annual Chicagoland Steam Meet

Karl Petersen and Don Beck, Berrien Steam Meet 2012. Both Karl and Don had worked with Richard J. Smith in the 1960’s and had not seen each other for over thirty years. Karl made a steam powered Citroen and Don a steam powered Camaro.		Steaming along, Jim Anderson with his 1907 Stanley EX 10 hp at the 2012 Berrien meet. Jim is from Menominee, Michigan. Passengers are Ken Helmick, Roger Ulsky, and Tom Stoecker; all modern steam people and enjoying the ride.

American Blower Company 6x6 double acting piston valve steam engine. The engine was patented 1905, made in Detroit, Michigan, complete with ball governor and oiler and water pump, turns freely, 5 feet tall to the top of head.
