| The rotary valve is either identical to the Richard Smith rotary valve or very similar. Vagg and Smith were in the Southern California area at the same time. When Graeme Vagg was asked if the valve ports were a little small for good power, he commented that he was aiming at good economy and efficiency and not maximum power. It was a very clever design. | ||
