| Andy Van Luenen lives near Seattle where he has a modern machine shop and a fine collection of small steam engines. He sells a casting kit for a traditional launch steam engine, which is the kind with exposed workings and slide valves. |  |

He also welds up launch boilers of the Babcock & Wilcox design. This is a natural water tube boiler with drums scattered here and there. | |
Andy has a large VFT boiler to operate very loud steam whistles.
